By now, the Zilveren Toren cup — more or less the interclub championship of the province of Antwerp — had restarted after the war. In first class, there were just two participating clubs. I believe that the rules for the overall classification were as follows. Only clubs with teams in at least three classes qualified. Per class, the qualifying clubs’ best teams were numbered from first to last. Per club, the best three such numbers were added for the final score. A lower score would indicate a better score overall and the lowest score was declared overall victor. Board points seem to have been used as a tie-breaker, although this means a clear disadvantage for the teams that did well in the smaller classes.
The results of the two matches in first class as well as the one game I have were taken from [1]. The final standings from the lower sections and the overall classification come from [2].
