For, as far as I, know, the third time, de Jong had brought O’Kelly over to Winterswijk for a training match. Once again, he was outclassed by the Belgian number one. The games were played daily between January 23rd and January 30th, probably in the rooms of the local chess club. The games come from de Jong’s original score books, which are preserved in the Max Euwe Centrum in Amsterdam.
