This time, three grandmasters were added to the field to give the youngsters some valuable experience against strong opponents. They took the first three places, a full point ahead of the juniors. Beeckmans did well enough to meet two of them, but due to losing in the last two rounds he fell back down the table. [1] gives all the games. The crosstable extracted from the game file fits perfect to the final standings given in [1], except that the Trygstad has a point too many and Dearing has a point too few. The game Trygstad – Dearing is given as 1-0, while the final position is clearly lost for white. Assuming, then, that the result from [1] is wrong, we get the above crosstable.
