[1] gives the results, one game and the date. This match was held in the Palais des Sports, alongside a junior match (which ended in a 7-7 draw) and a match North of France vs. Flanders (which ended on 30½-55½). Apparently, 100 boards were planned, but two cars from Rouen were involved in a traffic accident. Belgium scored a nice victory, even with O’Kelly de Galway, Dunkelblum and Van Seters missing. Boey’s victory over Mazzoni became rightfully famous.
