At the occasion of the “Fêtes de Wallonie”, the local chess club organised a small master tournament. The originally announced line-up included a fourth master, Dunkelblum, instead of Wéry. The latter was supposed to have played in a major tournament with Baert, Janssens, and Peeters. I do not know whether this major tournament was played and, if so, what the results were. The tempo was 40 moves in 2 hours, followed by 20 moves per hour. The first round was played on Saturday, October 1st from 10:00 to 14:00, the second one on the same day from 19:00 to 23:00. Sunday morning was reserved for adjourned games and the last round was played Sunday afternoon starting at 14:00. These organisation details come from [1] as do the results. The only game I have comes from [2], which mentions that this game won the brilliancy prize sponsored by Mr. Anciaux, honorary president of the organising club.
