This was the biggest tournament in Belgium since the giant Ostend tournaments. Colle started as the favourite, but he had one of his worst tournament results and only barely made 50%. Instead, the players from Antwerp dominated, with Koltanowski and Sapira on the top places in the major section and Censer taking first in the minor section. [1] gives full results and a couple of games. [2] has a bunch more.
Wanted
- Most games.
- Some first names, mainly from the minor tournament.
- I’m not sure about the nationalities of a number of players. I have taken BEL as default.
