The crosstable from group A comes from [2]; the crosstable for group C is compiled from partial results and final standings as given in [3] & [4]. For the three groups together, there were three brilliancy prices, of which O’Kelly won the 2nd for his game against Kramer. According to [3], in every group there were four prices: f. 200, f. 150, f. 100 and f. 50.
O’Kelly scored his 4th consecutive tournament victory, after the Easter tournament in Brussels, the masters’ tournament in Teplice-Šanov and the zonal tournament. In all these tournament he remained unbeaten, as in the team match Belgium vs. the Netherlands. The series ended in this tournament with his second round defeat against Muhring. In the same year he would go on to win the Belgian championship in Ostend and the Philidor Leeuwarden jubilee tournament and he finished second in Venice.
