Gurevich started as Elo favourite and made true on the expectations that come with that: he stayed unbeaten in a rather strong field and kept a half pointadvantage over Ukrainian youngster Ponomariov. Having won a closed tournament with a 2700+ performance is something few Belgians can boast off. The crosstable is given in [2], I took the games from [1].
