The concept of this tournament was that, in every round, competitors would play each other on six boards simultaneously, the total result over these six board determining who got to advance to the next round. If necessary, a play-off was played on two boards, probably at reduced speed, but I’m not sure. The tournament’s first prize was 12.000 guilders ([4]). The games come from [1], the results were cobbled together from partial match results given in [2]-[4] and the majority of the games as given in [1]. I do not know what happened in the first round match Cuijpers-Pliester and the second round match Carlier-Brenninkmeijer. I suspect that the last game might just have been left unfinished, as it was of no importance anymore to the final results.

- Some confirmation of the results above would be nice.
