I took the crosstable for the Premier Reserves from [1]. The crosstable for the Major A event was sent to me ([3]). One of the games was kindly sent to me by Mr. Kalendovský (quoting [2]), one comes from BritBase ([3]) The others come from [1] and various newspapers ([4]-[6]). BritBase gives what games were played in what round. [5] gives different rounds for some games; in those cases I have deferred to BritBase.
This was Dunkelblum’s first international tournament abroad. Not a bad start for a long career! Neither he nor Shernetsky had the Belgian nationality at this point, but I have nevertheless included their games as they were very much based in Antwerp. Koltanowski started quite well, but he caught the flue and fell back quite badly.
Wanted
- Many first names, mainly from the Major A section.
- Quite a few games.
