[2] gives the complete results, [1] gives all the games from the Grandmasters’ B group. The results seem to correspond, but [1] gives a different round order. I suspect [2] is correct, so I have used the numbers from there.
Mr. Olthof has kindly provided me with the final standings of the Masters’ quadrangular, which are only compatible with the crosstable above. He has also provided me with the dates of the whole festival (see above) and of the Masters’ quadrangular (January 12 to 14). Apparently, Winants was called up as a late replacement after Langeweg dropped out last minute. As a consequence, his first round game against Hellers had to be played on the rest day on January 18th. His victory in the Masters’ quadrangular earned him an invite for the Grandmasters’ B group of the next edition.
Quite possibly, more Belgian players participated in lower sections.
