Both Blockx and Henrotay did reasonably well in the preliminaries but not well enough to qualify for the final. Boey, on the other hand, did get to qualify, probably in view of his 2nd place in the preceding European correspondence championship. Tolush started in preliminary C, but died during the tournament and his results were annulled. Boey finished 2nd in the final, which earned him the GMC-title. Yudovich lost a won position against Estrin after he failed to respond on time; if he had won, Boey would have been world champion. The titles above are as at the beginning of the tournament. The crosstables and the games from the final come from [1], the two games I have from the preliminaries come from [2].

Wanted

  • Almost all the games from the preliminaries.
  • I’m not sure about the title data.
