A few strong players participated in this edition and they were all playing for Deurne. Their very convincing victory was therefore no surprise. The Oude God team managed a second place by consistently winning with very small margins. It is from the archives of that club that I managed to piece together the crosstable above. Thta’s why I have only the individual results of the Oude God matches. Also the one game I have comes from one of those matches. I found it in [2]. Note that, both individually as per team, a 3-2-1 scoring system was used (with 0 for forfeits) instead of the usual 1-½-0.
