*: Two games were supposed to be arbitrated, but Antwerp SK was declared winner before this happened. Presumably, it was clear that Antwerp SK wouldn’t lose the match.

This was the first time since the centennial tournament in Ghent in 1930 that a tournament like this was organised. The most important clubs from the country’s four main cities were invited for a team competition on fifteen boards. The first two rounds were played (on March 19th & 26th, and April 2nd) in the rooms of the host club, the final round was played in Brussels on April 30th. In the last round encounter between CÉ Brussels and Antwerp SK two games were stopped and, supposedly, arbitrated. However, Antwerp SK seems to have been declared the winner. It seems probable that it was clear Antwerp SK wouldn’t lose the match.

The round-by-round results are here. I’m not entirely sure about all the nationalities given below. The players with an unfinished game are marked by an asterisk. Forfeited games are not included. Note that e.g. Mente played once before Rotsaert and once behind him, so the board order seems to have not been entirely fixed.
