William Rivier was a Swiss player who stayed in Brussels for a short while. He immediately crushed the local elite, both in this tournament and later the same year in the championship of CÉ Brussels. He would go on to score a very respectable result for the Swiss team in the 1928 olimpiad. [1] gives full results.
