Note that Perlmutter was originally from Poland, but he had been living in Antwerp for a long time at this point and was certainly a member of the Belgian chess federation. I have used English as the default, but this might be wrong for some players. Spitz, Blum, and Schachter for example sound rather non-English (although the same can of course be said about Perlmutter sounding non-Belgian).
