On their way to the olimpiad, the Belgian passed through Luxembourg and played a match against the local team. According to [2], the Belgian players had white on the odd-numbered boards. Still according to [2], this was the first international chess tournament in Luxembourg. The match took place in the Ancre d’Or at 19:00. Luxembourg’s 9th board might be either Louis or Georges Philippe. Full results and one game come from [1], the other game I have from [2].
